Kids love butterflies as they move from flower to flower in the garden with lightness, bringing a splash of color! They love to put on butterfly wings to do the pose.
Sitting on the floor draw the soles of your feet together and bring heals as close to your body as possible. Drop your knees to your side as they are your butterfly wings and flap them for about a minute. At the same time, keep your spine straight. Imagine what color your butterfly wings are and sing – “Fly Like A Buttefly.” (Song section to come soon).
This pose keeps the hips open and flexible and the whole pelvis and abdomen healthy.
