Yoga for Projection – Archer Pose


This is the pose to balance the 3rd eye or 6th Chakra, what is called “AJNA”.

Stand up with your left foot in front and right foot pointing slightly to the side. Bend the left leg and at the same time bring your arms up with your left arm straight out in front, and the right arm bent at the shoulder. It is like you are pulling back on a bow. Lean into the pose and breathe deeply and stare at your target in the distance, a focal point.  Feel that you are a brave archer!  Breathe in again deeply, bend your front leg deeply and let go of your arrow.  Switch legs and do the same on the other side.
