Yoga for children allows them to explore their bodies, mind and spirit, to create in movement and to just be in the moment. Children are naturally active and receive many benefits by doing yoga: good circulation, breathing and digestion, improved concentration, calmness and the list goes on…
As adults we love to be outside in nature and we can foster this for our children, a lifetime benefit. Sitting at a desk all day can cause children to loss some connection to their own bodies and the environment. By spending some time outside playing, doing yoga, children learn more about themselves, what they are made of (elements – earth, water, fire, air and ether) and how to manage the energy of the elements.
Imagine doing yoga in the park on a refreshing summer evening before sunset. Club Yoga brings in fun yoga games, bringing in the elements with different walks, e.g. the earth walk, earth dance etc. and whatever we co-create together in the class. You will walk away feeling refreshed, calm and happy.

Location: Park off of Springhurst Avenue (two blocks south of Lees Ave and one block East of Simcoe St).
Cost: Parent & child – $40; Family – $50 for 4- weeks or Drop-in – $12 for Parent & Child & $14 for Family
