January Children & Teen Yoga Training

This certified, professional children’s training program is a must in any season. and what a better time then at the beginning of a new year, fresh with possibilities and potential!   Be prepared to jump into a dynamic and interactive yoga experience which will put you in front of your own unique expression and voice as a teacher of children and teens.

As a yoga teacher, educator and or parent you will learn new tools and perspectives to educate children in respectful and creative ways and it will open the door to start your own yoga business.

This  3-day training program includes:

Day 1 – Overview of training, core yoga principles/application, working with children at various ages, class structure, yoga class

Day 2 –  yoga class with families, warm-ups, pranayamas, yoga activities, east/west anatomy, chakras

Day 3 – yoga asanas, meditation, practice teaching, self-preparation for teaching & managing classes in various settings, evaluation

Our training has a strong creative, interactive and  multidimensional approach with one live class with parents and children (family yoga).

Please note:

This training will have an Introduction to “Ayurveda” (sister science to yoga) with yummy lunches.

You can book an individual Ayurvedic Assessment to learn/balance your unique body type.                    

Certification Requirements:

  • Complete 18 hours of training
  • Develop one class outline individually or in a group
  • Teach one Club Yoga class to the other student-teachers with satisfactory performance

Certification with Club Yoga (Teachings of Berdhanya Swami Tierra)

Time:            9-3 p.m.
